A 4-H Speech about Pooh the Pig

Jennifer Brummel shared this first speech I wrote in 4-H about her show pig, "Pooh." One of her dad's employees found it in a building that we have of our family business.

She says, "The thing I remember about this is my grandpa helped me write this speech and that is why it meant so much to me because he passed away in 1995. My grandpa was always good with creating such cute sayings as you can see in this speech.

My family's business is a farm supply store if that gives more insight.

Due to all the rain we have had we have not been able to be in the fields working so they have been cleaning out buildings and that is how this was found. I am sure I was practicing my speech one day in the back room on feed sacks and forgot it."

High School Diary from 1937

The children of Loretta Anderhalter shared this. It's a page from their mother's High School Diary. She graduated in 1937. Thanks to Roy Beckemeyer and his sisters for sharing. He can be contacted at royjbeckemeyer@gmail.com.
